| Old-world charm and
time-honored elegance. These words describe the
lifestyle of Vana Sutton and Jane Schaffner, two
friends who share a passion for color, design and
shopping. How to incorporate these passions, and do it
together was a question they often talked about. They
grew up together in Moab, a small town in southeastern
Utah and though living in different states, these
entrepreneurs have maintained their life-long
friendship and each owns her own unique store. |
| Jane has owned and
operated La Niche, a home accessory store with a
European feel in Park City, Utah for over 21 years.
Vana and her husband are owners and operators of San
Juan Mountain Nurseries, a wholesale / re-wholesale
nursery in Durango, Colorado, with a 35+ year history.
Visitors to their stores have been telling them "you
should go online and share these products!", so they
decided to combine their ideas, resources, products and
enthusiasm for design - and that's how French Country
Farm began. |
| Each gained their
retail experience years before French Country Farm was
an idea. Jane has been in retail over 30 years, worked
with with Saks Fifth Avenue and also did interior
design. Vana had a fashion design business and then
worked with Polo Ralph Lauren in creative service and
sales. They both learned and know the importance of
providing top customer service, and want to help you
create a cozy lifestyle for your home or garden, select
unique gifts, entertain guests, prepare for the
holidays, pamper yourself or your pet. |
